What is Peyronie`s disease?

Peyronie`s diseases is a disorder that facilitates the growth and development of fibrous tissues in the penis and leads to pain, distortion and curvature while having an erection. The penis is formed of two columns of erectile tissues and they are respectively corpus spongiosum and tunica albuginea, which is the sheath surrounding the erectile tissue.
